it wasn't that hard for me. but i get more urges as time goes on than i did right after i quit.

At a previous job, my assistant used to smoke and quit when his 2nd kid came along. I asked him if it was hard & he said "Nope".
He started in the armed forces so he can get a smoke break (otherwise they would make him work continuously; he was in the Cambodian army, I believe).

I know people who literally just tossed a pack in the trash and never picked up another. Granted two were expected mothers, But still very impressive

I am not going to BS....I miss my cigars...I had one vice...and had to stop. I will have one sooner or later....I know it..I look forward to it!!
My downfall was going to VEGAS where the whole world is smoking 24/7. I told my wife I had to get out of there or I’m bummed a cigarette come hell or high water. You guessed it, We stayed
There are so many triggers for me , I vape tobacco but haven't had a smoke in 13 years , so it was just switching delivery methods for me.

Having never smoked previously, it wasn't until basic training when we'd be out marching and the DI would yell smoke 'em if you got 'em. I was the only one in the squad who wasn't smoking, so I bummed a cig. It was a Half & Half brand and I was hooked. This happened in the mid '60's and I've been smoking ever since, although I've cut back to about 6 Marlboros a day for the last few years mainly because of price.
Thats how he started now he has one at home lol
