Details, details! Why do you always have to spoil it with your negativity! That's the bright side. The dark side is the bills keep coming in. How do those mix.
A. I. is going to send the bills. Things just keep getting better.AI pays the bills.![]()
The only way that won't happen is to choose wisely when using the 15th amendment. And then the day comes when we get a bill based on what our "fair share" should be based on our occupants and square footage. Please tell me that will never happen....
It's a few years out but.................................
Fair share will be, is, based on income factored by such things as occupants and square footage. It isn't fair that some have more than others, privileged, so the story goes. And then the day comes when we get a bill based on what our "fair share" should be based on our occupants and square footage. This is a real concern that will directly affect our bank accounts. The biggest customers get the biggest discounts. The public is always holding the bag---just remember how the Wall Street Fraud of 2008 was paid for by the public.Just wait until we start subsidizing the Data centers electric usage. Along with the Water usage.

It will go by the "Golden Rule".
The ones with the gold will rule.![]()
I remember the exact same thing being said in the early 70's. Here we are some 55 years later and thankfully the middle class is still here. Struggling just like back then but still here.It sure looks like the United States is getting close now doesn't it? The gap between the ultra-wealthy and the ultra-poor just keeps on growing and it seems like it has been growning exponentially over the past decade. Do we even have a middle class anymore?
summer is April til Dec
Does that decrease take into account that there's currently 650,000 401k millionaires which is the most ever? There wasn't even a single one in the early 70's. In today's economy I wouldn't consider 1 mil. in a 401k being wealthy but perhaps upper middle class. Not to mention the poorer folks that may only have $500-750K in their accounts probably vastly outnumber those 650,000. That I would consider middle class and there weren't any of those folks back then either. The gap between the wealthy and poor has dramatically increased from the 1970s and continues to grow.
In the 1970s over 60% of Americans were considered "middle class". Today that number is less than 50% and has been decreasing every year.
So I take that as a no it does not in answer to my question. It's gotten a lot worse dude. Look it up. The decline of labor unions. The elimination of manufacturing jobs. The changes in tax laws. All have contributed to the enourmous gap in wealth distribution and it continues to increase every year.
This AI is only going to increase it more as jobs for middle-class earners continue to evaporate and the US becomes even more of a low-income service industry economy.
