listening to your Jubilee speakers led me down a path, but after having to quit work, the big speaker sell off began, starting with the Jamborees. Selling my last set of Kg4's today.

I first heard Klipsch speakers in Memphis TN. in 1980, I was going to school there at the time and when I got back home I would start a new job. I received a pre job bonus $$$ so I listened to all the different models this dealer had and I could afford the Cornwall's in raw birch so they shipped direct from Hope. My new speakers, which arrived right as I moved into my new Apt. Wow I loved the sound, at that time I was using Yamaha gear with a BO turntable that was then this is now, my 1973 Cornwall's are the center piece of the Analog Room System One where now only tube based gear is in use and my Project turntable is the main source.

WAYY off topic....but you (everyone/anyone) might get a giggle out of this.
Was at a pizzeria yesterday. Putting my order in at their ordering location (walk up).
Young kid there taking the order... when done, he asked my name. I said 'Richard, but you can call me azzhole like my wife does" He looked at me, not knowing how to react but, saw I was smiling. When done ordering, paying.....he hands me my drink cup. Says.... "Here's your cup, you can fill it over there and, your order should be done in about 20 minutes.......azzhole"
Was very funny. I liked the kid immediately.

I just bought a pair of Forte III’s and trust me , they are worth every dime!! I have the book that can be purchased for $39 from Amazon that’s called “
Forte “ it’s strictly about the history of this speaker system. Paul W. Klipsch’s, Gary Gillum and Roy DelGado all converged their engineering genius to come up with what they said is the best pound for pound dollar for dollar Loudspeaker that they have EVER built. There are 100’s of hours engineering and testing & tweeking to get it just right. What do you get? A Loudspeaker that has a sensitivity of 99db and goes all the way down to 38hz for deep rich smooth bass! Hey , you’ll need help bringing them in your listening room because they weigh 72lbs each!! Best speaker out there under $5,000 or more!! Look up Steve Gutenberg’s review on YouTube! He’ll sell you on them and he’s heard them all.

What originally got me into Klipsch Loudspeakers was a George Benson concert in 1978 " Weekend in LA tour " and when he started to sing " On Broadway " I went to the front of the stage as close as I could get and I saw on each end of the stage these huge speakers and the brand name was KLIPSCH and I never forgot how good Benson sounded through those Stage performing Loudspeakers. Fast forward to 1980 and I'm in a family owned stereo store called the Music Shop ( still in business to this day ) and they had that brand in their store KLIPSCH. I started talking with the salesman ( he was the owners son and now he and his brother own the store and are still a Klipsch dealer , anyway , Scott gave me the rundown , history and what these special expensive speakers were all about. He of course gave me a demo of a pair and they just happened to be a pair of Lascalla's he played on a Thorens TT Christopher Cross' debut album " Ride like the wind " and the sound was as if Christopher cross was in that music shop performing for us " Live " I was in awe and I was also only 16 years old and could barely afford a pair of cheap radio shack bookshelf speakers. anyway , that's when I made the commitment to purchase a pair of Klipsch speakers someday and that day was in November 1988 and I bought a brand new pair of KG4's that I demoed next to a pair of heresy's and the KG4's won the side by side comparison for me. Cost was not the decision factor , they went on a credit card so another few hundred bucks? Who cares , right? The Heresy lacked the bottom end and I preferred the overall sound stage of the KG4. I had those KG4's until November 2019 ( PRISTINE condition ) not as much as a mark or scratch on them. and decided to sell my KG4's to my sister ( she always said if I EVER was to replace them , let her buy them ) She did and she is ecstatic. I treated myself to a brand new pair of Forte III's and am in absolute Heaven. My sisters husband came home after a long week on the road for work and she already had them hooked up and was listening to some music and he didn't know they had arrived yet and he said " WOW , what are you listening to , it sounds FANTASTIC " she of course said " I bought my brothers Klipsch speakers " and he sent me a text message and thanked me for letting he and my sister acquire them. . I enjoy how lifelike Klipsch speakers sound and the detail of the music is heard and enjoyed. I used my KG4's as mains for my 5.1 HT system and now the Forte III's have replaced the KG4's using them for music and HT use and they are simply AMAZING. Thanks for reading. Happy listening
Two of my older brothers are Klipsch fans. They own (and have owned) Forte, KHorn, LaScala, Cornwall, Heresy and Chorus. I have just recently caught the addiction and now have KG2.5, KG3.0 and Heresy I. I like the vintage SS and tube amps so the marriage fits very well.

I first heard Klipsch in a showroom at Stereo One in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in the fall of 1990.
Twenty years later (or so), I scored some Cornwalls a block from my house in Kansas City for $40, delivered.
Perfectly serviceable after some light veneer gluing and a stain pen.

A friend gave me a pair of KLF10's and that started the Klipsch obsessions
I went through all KG models, Heresy, RF7 and now I am all settled at 2 pairs of the KLF30's with the Bob titanium diaphragms upgrade!

Went to a fellow member's home to look at a pair of Ohm speakers I think they were back in 2011....heard a pair of Chorus II's, LaScalas, and K-horns. Left with a Sansui 9090 because I was torn and dumbfounded by what I experienced. Later bought a pair of Chorus II's...and the rest as they say, is history.

I went over to this guy’s house to listen to some JBL’s, I think the 4311’s? I’m not sure though. I liked them but he started playing some others in his room. Some maggy’s, another pair of JBL’s and such. I noticed a pair of speakers on his kitchen counter he had just gotten in but hadn’t cleaned up yet and asked him to play those just to hear them. He put them on, I absolutely loved them and bought them on the spot. They were Heresy I’s and I still have them.
I’ve since bought Chorus II’s and use them on my main player. They sound even better for the most part. I’m keeping around the Heresy’s for something else, I’m not sure what yet but might try to integrate them into my home theater system.

First heard Klipsch at The Good Guys(?) store in Silverdale, WA. I had decided it was time to buy some decent speakers so I went to the showroom and listened to what they had.
I came away with a pair of KLF-10s. This was in the 90s I think. Before The Good Guys chain closed. Had them since.
