I really dig Lady Gaga and one of the reasons I like her so much is that she herself is a parody of pop culture. I think the harsh judgment comes up when people think she's trying to be taken seriously.

I really have to agree with that. She generally doesn't take herself too seriously. Besides, she has huge talent. This is something, which is refreshing as well. :yes:
