e-mailed for chits n gigles. He told me it isn't a typo.

I politely told him to pack sand :thumbsdn: I could buy 4-5 at that price.

His reply to me:

John:

I just put it up, I will only consider reasonable offers only. I know what it retails out for and the 1200 is the low side. I already been offered 835 for it and told the person I need to have it up for at least 10 days. Remember I do not ship unless there is some arrangements made 1st.

I think I'll buy it...maybe he can offer me a pair of Dynaco A-25's for $1000.00 to go with it :scratch2:

Consider this - supposing, just supposing, the guy came to visit us here and latched onto the thread about Normo's KA-907. It's big, it has rack handles, it has a silver face, it's a Kenwood and with a tuner included it has to be worth half again as much, the number even starts with 9. He has one at home so on the block it goes. Hmmm, are we ultimately responsible for this? The ad isn't displaying a lot of knowledge of vintage gear.

Basically he will be lowering the price over and over again. Eventually he'll be selling it for $150. I sell a lot of stuff on craigslist and people there are cheap. Let him ask $1200 for it. He'll never get it especially being such an a double s about his price.

Unless he gets some moron who thinks it's worth $1200. Then it a matter of someone having more money than brains.

I see people in Portland who do this all the time. I'm sure he has lots of hate posts in Hartford CL after he posted this.
