What Is Your Favorite Integrated Amp?

A couple of vintage favorites that I know well:

Revox B750 Mk 2

Accuphase E-202

I know there are superb recent amplifiers from Naim, Cambridge Audio, Arcam, McIntosh, etc, but lost my interest on integrated amps some time ago when I went the pre+amp route. There are also some great tube amplifiers that I've heard but never owned (again some Macs), but this post is in the solid state forum.

Of all my integrated amps (including Yamaha CA-2010, HH Scott 299D, and AIWA A-60 models), my favorite remains the entry-level McIntosh MA-6100, both for esthetics and performance.

Nothing esoteric or gorgeous, but my Onkyo A-7090 has proven to be a 40-pound chunk of sweet-sounding reliability. 110 W/ch. into Genesis Physics II's make a good combo with terrific headroom for transients. I think I'll keep it a while.

Sony TA1630 for me, it's a proper little meat head of an amp. Hook it up to some beefy speakers and play some bashment or jungle or something, crank it up and the street knows about it.
I am actually running mine as a slave amp from my Sony STR 7015, drivind Sony SS G3's and the 7015 will be driving Technics SB 102's + Beovox S30's on Sunday... All the speakers stacked up.
There's a picture of my TA1630 on the "show us your Sony's page".

Marantz 1120. I've owned 2 of them, though I'd like to try some others.

got a kenwood of some sort, because it is forgettable i forget the model number.
the other two types are lets see.... hmmm

denon pma 920, interesting and has pre out/main in which is nice, but my favorite has to be my pair of denon pma 860's

the layout of the 860 is superior to the 920 and also sonically much cleaner sounding to me,

probably modify the 860's for pre in/main out at some point, then they would be about perfect for my needs.

all black aluminum is nice in my eyes too, no more knobs than what is probably necessary for most folks is a plus too.

Harman/Kardon A-402 ,the nicest 40w/ch ive heard in a SS
Flexible preamp and well designed power amp section
But it should have been shipped with a wood sleve with the name Citation on the front.

Someday I will own a Sui AU-22,000, until that day I will continue to enjoy the crap out of my AU-X501 that I bought new in '87. I love the Sansui integrateds

My verastile:
SA-8800II (Japanese version of 8500II)

Followed by
Sansui AU Alpla 707
SA-9800II (Japanese version of 9500II)

Sansui AU-X901 (Vintage Series) 130 Watts RMS per channel. It's an amazing amplifier. Sound quality is outrageous.

I'd like to also have:
AU-X1111 in minty shape.

I'd say I LOVE my Kenny Supreme 500. I really enjoy my Marantz 1060 too. Both are keepers.

Total Power, beautiful meters, toroidal bliss...AU-G99X.
I love mine. It has dents and bruises, scratches on the bottom front covered by electrical tape...but I love it. Now I'm going to read this thread.

KA-9150, with matching tuner KT-7550

I said my fav was AU-G99X.....but I love my Kenwood 9150....I've paired it with JBL CF-150s and it was spectacular.....I bought mine beaten up, did some refurb, replaced the broken glass with some nice fitting plexi.....A bargain with fantastic sound...

My favorite only because I own(ed) it.

The Onkyo Integra 8700

The source selection buttons are problematic though, they loose their tension and wont hold. I think this is a common problem with these.

It puts out the power though. Huge power supply.
