It's best to know what equipment will go along with this phono preamp...especially the cartridge. It's also important to know the budget or have some idea of what level of quality the other gear in the system is.

Although I don't know much about that receiver, it appears it has phono inputs. With that being the case, I probably wouldn't both with anything less than the ones that sell for around $150 or more. So my top candidates would probably be the Musical Fidelity V-LPS and the Cambridge Audio 640P.
You think I should just stick with the phono input?

I bought mine from a fellow AKer but you order new ones directly from them (or him...I suspect it might be a one-man operation?). Yes, everything about them is VERY basic, including the housing of the preamp...but what's inside works very well. I no longer use mine in my main system (my Marantz Reference peamp has a very well made phono stage) but it's in use in my bedroom system with a Marantz TT-15s1 and Audio Technica AT-150mlx cart and I really like it. You can get better phono stages but they will cost you more.
