What taps on your 501's???

It looks like I am the only one that prefers the 2 OHM taps...

I started with the 4's loved that sound... tried the 8's TOO bright for me. So tried the 2's just for the heck of it and I think I like this the best.

Any danger here?

Is anyone using two taps simultaneously, like 4 ohm taps for the woofers, and 8 ohm taps for mids and tweets?

I've wondered about that too as the impedance of the woofers can differ from the mid/tweeter. I had one person tell me definitely to not do it so I am not sure either way. I plan to talk with some in MAC tech support and will report back.

4ohm for the woofers and 8ohm on the mid/tweeter or my 800Ds.
