Just scored some Yamaha ns1000m's (loving them), and some bozak tempo 301's. What taps do you guys recommend? Thank you in advance for your reply's and have a happy new year.

LoL.. use the taps that won't damage your ears. I had a beautiful pair of NS1000M's in Chicago during the late 80's with their metal domes. Built a custom pair of stands from 5 or 6 quarter birch plywood (1-1/4") with wet sanded black lacquer finish. They looked like diving board platforms. Here's the only photo still around: NS-1000M.jpg (recognize that floor lamp?) A dealer quickly took them off my hands later on. They were quick all right, sonically speaking. With hardwood floors and MC2200/2205 amplifiers my left ear was permanently damaged. Good thing you're running the Mc tube amp.
