What you failed to mention

What you failed to mention - and your reply is pretty old - that you were in prison for quite a long time because of animal cruelty. Now you will never have hot dogs for lunch again.

I'm thinking about getting my 9090 repaired. This damned heavy beast.

What you failed to mention is that 9090 is the weight in grams. In kilograms it doesn't seem so bad.

My irrigation system hasn't leaked for the past two months.

What you failed to mention is that your foot was under it when it fell, and now you're hobbling around.

My football team lost today.

What you failed to mention is that perhaps they should stop confusing soccer with football.

Soon it will be October, and there are still so many green tomatoes in my sister's garden.

What you failed to mention is that you, in fact, used to be a coyote yourself; that, in 2018, you got your hair and claws done, and that you—living with an unsuspecting retired couple with bad eyesight—have been passing yourself off as a show poodle in Tucson since COVID.

Come to think of it, I left my swimming trunks in the locker room.
