What's British in your system?

Just added this turntable into one of the systems. Absolute mint, looking like it was just unpacked from the box, JA Michell Focus One S with Mission 774LC.

Almost forgot, I have a pair of (older) Audio Note AN/E-D IIs (as back-up) upgraded with new tweeters and Hemp mid/bass woofers, but I don't know how much "British" they really are as the design is "stolen" from Snell (usa) and the name "stolen" from the Japanese Audio Note (now Kondo)??

. . . . .ousch,this also slipped my mind, of course my Garrard 401 is of British origin & I also have an SME 3012/II on the shelf,apparently I'm not as alert as I used to be, must be due to age?

Ha ha ha ha, apparently I have another one, I guess you have to count my Audion Silver Night 300B-HW/20TH Anniversary as British, the company was started by an Englishman and a Swedish designer/engineer in the UK,but the manufacturing has now been moved to France.

BIG shout out to an unexpected hero.

The other day a friend of mine’s kid stuck his stupid finger right through the dust cap on one of my Concept 50’s woofers. So off they go to the doctor‘s office.

My old pair of Celestion Ditton 551 need an xover rebuild so they couldn’t muster the effort.

Enter an unexpected, stuffed into a closet and forsaken pair of KEF Q35 I bought for three hundred bucks a few years back and promptly forgot about. I’m shocked at how competent these are. Look at how close those frequency responses are!!

Just a Quad 405 I recapped and updated to the 405-2 op amp. Sounds great!

I now have KEF R7 Meta speakers and REL Classic 98 subwoofers in my main living room system, my office stereo has Monitor Audio Silver 500's (6th gen) and an Sw-12 sub plus a couple of Rega P3 tables.... Not sure if REL can be considered British anymore though (bought by American company in 2005).

I re-installed my Leak Stereo 20 today. So that, a Nottingham Spacedeck and a pair of Wharfedale Linton 85. The Leak works surprisingly well considering it's only 11 watts per side.
