What's in your Garage? AK Car Show!

Right now is my old Dodge 1990 D150 truck that my son now owns with 145000 miles on a 318 that needs a oil change and I never put a change oil sticker on it and just change the oil when I feel like it needs it since it just sits and only gets used when we need to use it and maybe gets a 1000 miles a year on it. So for Fathers day it will be a oil change with my son and just kicking the tires.

My " bucket-o-bolts " Firebird..

That I have totally lost interest in... :dunno:

1967 Cougar. My grandma’s car. She bought it new off the lot at Roy Butler Ford (Austin, TX) on Aug 16, 1967. Her son (my dad) bought it from her in 1982. I bought it from him 2001. Current mileage 151,000. I still have the original window sticker, owner’s manual with her info typed inside the front cover, and the salesman’s business card.
It’s a 2bbl 289, C4 car with WhisperAire AC (it is a TX car, after all!). Shortly after I got the car a friend and I swapped out the C4 and put a used T5z in. Other than that, it’s bone stock.
Retirement is just a couple years away for me, and making this a fun reliable driver is one of my retirement goals.

Does it still have the 'Motor Trend Car of the Year' sticker on the back window?

Nice car (understatement).

I had a '70 LS5 like that - had every option available in 1970 including PW, tilt, AC, leather AM/FM Stereo. 3:08 gears made for decent mileage on the highway.

1970 was an odd bird - had some parts left over from 69, and some scheduled for the 71. Mine didn't have the coolant recovery tank like yours. With AC. it had an idler pulley for one of the belts that;s hard to find. Mine also had the braided spark plug wire shielding and distributor cover like yours. Most people tossed those.

Sorry I sold it. But, with just starting my own business and a family, I decided I'd rather have the money in the bank than the car in the garage.

I know where it is now. Could probably buy it back. Too old to get full enjoyment out of it.

Actually, out with the stock 2-speed and now has a 350 transmission. Brakes now 4-wheel disc conversion. Does have the stock 65 400 big block.

No, the brakes are pretty readily available as well as the high performance 2 speed auto. Many of these cars have been converted to 4-speeds over the years so the 442 specific automatics trans are in surplus or at least we're at one point.
