What's with the Beatles Help record with Shell logo?

I think it's because you have to shell out a lot more for the album now than when it was new.

;)

Not really it was like $29 which is pretty much a standard for colour vinyl these days....it was just a reissue sealed and new. Plays and sounds good.

A local records store called Red Eye. They have a website. This must be some sort of digital remaster reissue as it sounds real clean and nice. Good with AT95e.

Thank you very much for your answer !
I'll check out the Red Eye website and report back here.

I don't know what AT95e is.

I passed on a later UK Parlophone pressing of this last week. Think it was a 69' pressing. $15. Of course a first press would have had me running out the door with it.
Looks like a neat record. To cheap to spend the $30.

Sorry that's a cartridge Audio Technica AT95e. Good-luck :thmbsp:

Yes I wouldn't go near a first press. But I'm pretty happy with this new sealed reissue as it looks great, colour vinyl and sounds impeccable. I wish there were more of these Beatles reissue colour vinyl with great sound.

I see... . From the late 1970s. The same era that allowed the bastardization of Sgt. Pepper's by the Bee Gees.

Freakin' figures... .

Forgive me, but as one who grew up with the Beatles, I hate to see this kind of thing.

Two fat, ugly words: Allen Klein.

Help is on the way!

No luck on the Red eye's website, but after some searching I found it and purchased one copy on this swedish record store's site: www.hotstuff.se

The price was very reasonable: 27.45 AUD incl. shipping.

I don't know if the vinyl is colored or not. Standard black will do for me :-)
