Passed on a pair of Klipschorns at a savers once, I knew exactly what I was looking at, but unfortunately didn't have the $600 in my pocket. They still haunt my dreams.
The 4301b's are great monitors! I love mine, found them on CL for 100 bucks, from a voice over recording studio in NYC. They are virtually mint, were never on the floor!Reading this thread and learning what some of you have found is going to keep me thrifting for life. Best I've done is a pair of Technics sb-6000a's for $60 and a single Jbl 4301b for $7.
Incredibly I found another single 4301b for sale 2 hr drive away for $50. Serial #'s were too far off to have been the mate.... But I'm happy just to have completed the pair.
You suck.Too many.JBL EV Tannoy Jensen University HPMs Realistic Bozak AR Advent CV are some .
Just kidding.

It's cool.I am fortunate to live close to a thrift that puts out.You suck.Just kidding.

I can't really complain, I've had some good luck myself. It's cool.I am fortunate to live close to a thrift that puts out.

I did have put some cash into them as you guys pointed out the drivers were not original. Well they are now as are the tweeters and sound fantastic.Seemed like your thrift was a speaker goldmine!I have found alot of cheap speakers at the thrifts.
