What's your "go to song" to test bass in your rig?

The descending synth run bottoms out somewhere around 30Hz. It repeats numerous times throughout the track giving ample opportunity to dial in and/or position your sub. Plus the whole track has a huge soundstage. Best if streamed hi res or as a .flac. This MP4 is a little lossy, but you get the idea.

Way cool you got to see them live! Just picked up "The Comeback Special, Live at the Royal Albert Hall" on vinyl. One of the best live performances and recordings I've ever heard. Matt Johnson sounds as good as ever.

Unfortunately Johnny Marr NEVER used to tour with the band, but whoever it was that played live with them on tour was excellent.

just note not many systems can hang with this. The bottom end of played right will sound amazing.

It may not go quite as deep as some rock recordings, but it's a great test track for revealing peaky bass and mid-bass. It's also just plain fun to listen to.
 
For tight and articulate stand up bass, anything Diana Krall.

This song for the most part is really bright, but from around the 4 minute mark. There are some really low bass notes. If you system can pull those out from the vinyl, it's really good.

For fun pounding bass.

Van Halen and ZZ Tops are always good.
