Which speakers??

KEF 103/4 or Dahlquist DQM-9? I can get either pair for about the same price, and how would they rate compared to my ADS L-810 which I absolutely love!

This is just a pro forma comment, since I certainly have never acted on it, but if you love the ADS, why are you looking for anything else? Why argue with success? On a practical level, I'm not certain that you would like either more than the 810s anyway, but, at the same time, I recognize that we audiophiles can't help ourselves.

I vote KEF. if for no other reason that it's probably more balanced top to bottom, and might have the better bass. Both like some power, however.

I'd go for the Kef 104. I have heard them (years ago) and they sounded great. I have also heard and seriously considered buying the DQM-9 back in the day also. Ah he!! just buy both.
