Who all is tired of the Tiger Woods crash thing?

What disturbs me about the Tiger story is the notion that we, the public, have a "right to know" whether Tiger was having an affair. Don't know, don't care.

I think the White House crasher story is a bit different because of the Presidential security angle. However, giving these charlatans air time and print inches is just what they wanted out of their hijinks. Next time I want to hear about them is when they're thrown in the can for a couple of weeks/months for their shenanigans.

Exactly. On both counts. Well said.

I don't think its' about a "right" to know. But hey, we've had Tiger Woods this and that jammed down our throat for years. Why was no one complaining then?

This guy has -chosen- to be in the spotlight, and -chosen- to profit from being in the spotlight. So when things go the opposite direction, I don't know why he should suddenly be "off limits".

Oh, to answer the OP question about who is tired of the Tiger Woods crash.

Well...... Tiger Woods for one. Anyone whose product he endorses too..

That and the White House party crashers.

I'm actually diggin that story... hits close to home when you think about all the stuff that happens in this area, and you wonder how you could get into something, and what it would be like.... I gotta give these two props for playing the game... It's an interesting game to watch for sure..

The only thing I'm liking about the Tiger story is the fact that he seemed to be the perfect guy,. then once he screws up a little, everyone else wants to jump in it for the money and fame.. lets see how much fame that girl thinks she is gonna get will actually make her look pretty bad... the home wreckin hussy...

I think people are naturally going to be interested whenever somebody that was advertised as a perfect human is revealed to be one of the rest of us. His superhuman golf skills and superhuman ability to sell Buicks (ok, maybe not) didn't make him any better than us or our neighbors. There's something gratifying about that.

I'd much rather see this in US Weekly, though, than CNN or Fox news...that's where I have a problem with it, and it's also why I hardly watch TV anymore.

Yeah.. now if this was Paris or Britt, caught up in some cheating, I wouldn't be watching.. no new news there..

Ya know though... This sure would be a great opportunity for Cadillac to advertise to their top tier customers... A stylish way to pick up all your girls and room enough for your luggage too, while holding up well to any obstacles you wife throws at you.. Their new slogan: "Just don't look back."

At least it is merit pay, He has to prove his talent every week on the course, as opposed to many NFL players etc.
Regards,
Jim

Personally, I don't care what happened, but I don't really feel very sorry for him because he became very rich from millions of people watching him. He can't expect all of them to just go away when it suites him. When you decide to become a high profile entertainer (professional athletes are entertainers) you have to expect to lose a lot of your privacy.

I'm disappointed, Tiger is a model for a lot of people. It is unfortunate he indulged in this behavior. He energized the game of golf and brought a resurgence of youth interest in the game. He is mortal, like all of us, but it saddens me. Another hero lost.......
