Who Says All Canadians Are Nice & Peaceful?

I think that Molly got "aggressive" because she recognized their evil intent. I have no problem with the slaughtering of an animal for food, but not a pet. WTF!

LOL I lived in a few different American cities/towns while employed within the Environmental industry located out of Philadelphia (lived in West Chester)....until being run over by a drunk driver.... Wanna trade your American citizenship for another Canadian? LOL
Regards from over the Northern border in New Scotland.

It warmed my piggy hooves to read this whilst reading about citizenship issues.

Canada is a country that allows dual citizenship. A Canadian will not lose their citizenship if they take on another nationality or nationalities. If they are naturalized as a citizen, they will retain their original citizenship in addition to their Canadian citizenship, provided that the other country also allows dual citizenship. The United States of America also allows dual citizenship.

Its a long story, but technically I had been a US citizen since 1968, but did not complete my swearing in ceremony, so did not have my documentation. I fixed that two years ago, and now have dual citizenship.

Since you live in Olympia, Mr. Pig, I am curious if you are familiar with the Pig War that took place in the San Juan Islands in 1859?

You should see the huge bore hogs in the Bavarian mountains, genetic throw backs. Then heaven forbid if your setting up a base of operations in an area where you have several in a family clan that has piglets, everyone will be on top of Army hummers waiting for approval to jump to new local. I’ve seen Hummers knocked over by gigantic twins working together. I’m talking about the front hooves of a bore up on the hood of a Army Hummer and you better not honk the horn either. Imagine an Army Hummer with a bore next to it that stands three quarters the height of that Hummer. Then there is no out running them either as they are not fattened up pigs. Then again, if they have no piglets and you feed them dog food and I’m talking the largest bag ever they will be your friend. They’re just like a woman....what have you done for me lately!! When I was working under an army truck I would leave a granola bar on the ground and there would be a huge bore hog just sitting there waiting for another cause he could smell more inside the truck.

But truthfully, the most misunderstood animal is a pig...

George Pigett, later famous for Pigett’s Charge, was the hero of the affair. From the American point of view anyway.

Maybe it was the daily all over salt , pepper and maple massage that gave it away .

in case you didnt know, since the advent of social media and reality TV, a frightening number of USA citizens have discovered ways to be weird, stupid and dangerously annoying. I for one, would like to see stronger deportation laws to send them *somewhere*

I can see that, reading your reply.

How does this relate to my post,
did you mean to respond to someone else ?
You seem to be off topic.

jesus H finklebine. I make a post about americans and I get proven right from halfway around the globe. dont tell me its pandemic?

you did say that in Oz, you call them livestock, not pets. and I quoted that. and I went on tongue in cheek (mebbe not so much as the data shows) to explain why that people here keep livestock as pets

well that alone saves your proverbial canadian bacon.

there are some that say we have existed in a virtual state of was with canada since the 1800's

Curious second statement you made. I believe your word of "was" was meant to be "war"? If so, I'd have another look at the source you might have used to determine validity of your POV, or is this a TIC revelation? Just curious.

Let us not lose sight of the real tragedy here. A poor innocent pig was kidnapped under false pretenses, then brutally murdered and eaten. By Canadians none the less! They really aren't that kind as they pretend to be you know.

true dat, not technically a typo since I spelled 'was' correctly. but yes, many a source jokes about going to war with canada... (who can forget alex P keaton?) (and MST3K apologizing for bryan adams...)

Perhaps it would help to reframe the situation as merely purchasing something pre-owned and then re-purposing it. Sort of like Shabby-Chic, but more nutritious.

Well, c'mon now. Don't you think some bells would have gone off when they renamed him/her "Bacon Bits"?

Sorry Quad,
text doesn't always allow the irony/sarcasm to be transmitted clearly enough.
All good at this end.
Cheers.
