Wild Early 70s Hard Rock

Mid 1970s, but heavy Teutonic (Swiss campus) PROG, very much in the style of early '70s Hard Krautrock PROG. Also featured tres cool cover art by (also Swiss) artist H.R. Giger. An artist w/ work of indelible style, pretty sure he came up with "The Alien" for the series of films made by Ridley Scott, J. Cameron, et al.

I'll include a shot of the cover art for the following LP, then the Utoob link to the vid.

He also did the “Brain Salad Surgery” cover.

Great great thread! I haven't heard of lots of these bands. Always great to discover new music, even if it's old.

I've been listening to Montrose lately.

I didn`t see Captain Beyond posted.
Does the 1972 self titled Captain Beyond album fit in here ?

Pretty spacey songs, with some energetic, and a lot of the tracks seem to flow from one song to the next..
It is dedicated to recently demised Duane Allman, around that time, which I thought was very cool.

Cool thread. I've found a few gems on YouTube, thank you algorithm! Anyway, love these guys.

Edit: The link won't start at the beginning, hate that. Anyway, slide the little dot on the bottom to the left to start at the beginning.
