Eh, that's a question that could start a civil war here. Nevertheless, that is a quite a beautiful pair. And really, considering what units in much worse shape have sold for, that price is not at all out of line. Its just a matter of having the scratch.

No I don't. All I know is I am happy as a little pig in the mud with my EW modded 700C and 700M. No need for me to look any further.

Would anybody care to respond as to the price? Any member buy or sell either of these Supremes, recently? I put an offer out for a 700M with issues and am trying to figure a base price for a working 700M. The two pieces in this auction should sell at a premium, IMO, because of the condition and bundled accessories (Manuals, boxes, etc.).

Incredible...must be rare or must be REALLY, REALLY, good.

I have no idea which -- I dont own them and at that price, never will.

Only someone who wants them really badly could tell you if they are worth that much,but the preamp is really,really good.
Others who've responded to this thread have both amp and preamp,I'll let them respond to whether they think both are really,really good.
On the evidence of how good the preamp is,I'd be prepared to take their word for it. :yes:

Yeah, to me I just REALY liked the sound of the C-200- something in the way it handles bass. They sound very similar though. Not to say one is better than the other- I just happened to like the C-200 better.
