Words to live by

The thing I realized as I was going through my divorce in 05 and my now ex wife destroyed over $20k worth of my gear at the time is that it’s just stuff and no about of money could amount for my children needing me to be there for them at that time. Sure I was furious at what she did but it turned out that it brought my children and I much closer together.

Long story short , it had taken years for me to decide to get that level of a system again and when I decided to it took another 3 plus years to get to that level of quality had . The system I have now sounds better Imo and now I am remarried with a wife who is 100% supportive of my hobby and a complete 180 from my ex lol

I'm reminded of the Bill Burr skit where he opines that women should at least live with the threat of retribution for their actions, but of course, society won't allow that.

I'm glad you turned it around, but wanton destruction of someones belongings makes me furious.

Yeah it doesn’t make sense to me either however, karma is real and if I told you all the hell she has and still is going through you would smile . I could write a book about it , but instead I don’t dwell on that negativity I live my life to the full and happily

The one saying I try to live my life by,"Treat other people the way you would like to be treated". The world would be a great place if everyone could follow this simple phrase. No wars,no racism,no poverty, just makes you wonder what the world could be like.
Right... but some like to be mistreated.

Never take short cuts.

If the grass seems greener, it's probably because someone is pissing there.

Good marketing is more important than sound engineering.

Everything is someone's favorite.

EDIT: That second one was supposed to be sarcastic. A bean-counter joke.

If you're getting to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on man!

Also, light a fire for a man and he'll be warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

I noticed many moons ago that folks from Down South are not so concerned with their ancestral roots (i.e., Irish, Italian, Polish, whatever)....they`re SOUTHERNERS above all else....
We tend to have ancestors who immigrated further back (some forcibly) so we don't have the cultural connection of a nana who spoke Russian and hand painted eggs at easter.
