Misspelled words on AK

Hay, on a related note, I saw a sail on at one of our sponsors wit "Up to 70% off or more" on speaker wires. (Actually, it probably was a Craigslist posting that I saw.)

I think I can figure out what the first part of the sentence means. It's the part in quotes that confuses me. Just exactly what does "Up to 70% off or more" mean? I see that expression used all the time on local locally produced camcorder commercials on our regional television stations. It sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard when I hear that expression used.

If it's at a retail outlet, just pick up something that you want, take it to the register and tell them you want the 70% off deal. They will quickly explain how it works. :thmbsp:

Ted couldn't distinguish between his 6's and 0's.

You need to use the apostrophe to indicate the plural of zero or it will look like the word Os. To be consistent within a sentence, you would also use the apostrophe to indicate the plural of 6's.[/INDENT]

Are you say I should watch my Os?

Almost as good as its Kuntry Cuzin, "Gonter"..."Yew take dat BACK, or Ize gonter KICK yor scrawny azz frum h'yere t'Knox-Full 'n' back, damn ya !"

That's pretty weird, but apparently true. It looked like chicken scratch at first, but after a couple seconds, it just resolved itself. :scratch2:
