We're all born mad
Some folks say Southern California is like a box of cereal. "Once you separate the fruits from the nuts all you have left are the flakes".
Empty the whole ****ing box.

The thing I realized as I was going through my divorce in 05 and my now ex wife destroyed over $20k worth of my gear, it’s just stuff and no amount of money could amount for my children needing me to be there for them. Sure I was furious at what she did but it turned out that it brought my children and I much closer together. To add some of my own serious thoughts:
Lost most of my material possessions, and my health, essentially at the prime of my life; a very unpleasant experience that I certainly couldn’t comprehend nor envision the impact it would have on my future. Eventually it made me grateful, both retrospectively, and in the contemplation of my future.
To condense the story and relieve boredom, the thing I viewed as a horrible tragedy turned into a blessing, greatly improving my life and my relationship with God. Odd thing is most people looking at the circumstances of my life from the outside, not knowing me personally, still see a very tragic life/situation.
My tragedy provided me with the understanding/knowledge that inner peace and contentment can only come from God’s Grace.
I’m extremely grateful for the experience and blessings I’ve been afforded in life.

Sounds like your ex wife was jealous of the attention you gave to the hobby. You made a great decision in going your own way.The thing I realized as I was going through my divorce in 05 and my now ex wife destroyed over $20k worth of my gear at the time is that it’s just stuff and no about of money could amount for my children needing me to be there for them at that time. Long story short , it had taken years for me to decide to get that level of a system again and when I decided to it took another 3 plus years to get to that level of quality had . The system I have now sounds better Imo and now I am remarried with a wife who is 100% supportive of my hobby and a complete 180 from my ex lol

Unfortunately she was amongst other things she had going on but I made a decision to let negativity that was around me go. I deleted the things and people around me that I saw we’re bringing me down because it was starting to affect my career (I was active duty Army) . After I did that my life did a complete 180 and I haven’t looked back since.Sounds like your ex wife was jealous of the attention you gave to the hobby. Well, we know Thomas Jefferson did, lol.
