Worst singers

My top 2 are Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin...

Rod Stewart is a very close third....

How these guys get work is beyond me...

Donna Jean Godchaux ruined many an otherwise perfect Grateful Dead performance. She just couldn't find the right key---ever. Which makes me wonder how she got work with Elvis Presley or Little Feat.

When Donna could keep it together and resist screaming, she sounded nice. Granted that was rare. She sounds nice on Candyman from the Egypt concert.

Surprised Janis is mentioned here. She could sing the Blues.:thmbsp:

I would nominate JLo. She's hot but cannot sing or act.:thumbsdn:

Crosby,Stills and Nash live. 3 part harmony when no one is on key is brutal. I've seen them 3 times and it was worse each time.

Josh Todd (Buckcherry...especially that song "Sorry").

Gavin Rossdale (Bush)

Another vote for Maroon 5.

Blues Traveler

i have this minnie ripperton album, and its pretty rough.
the "singer" for half japanese is super terrible, but he was never really supposed to be good anyway

Hmm...........

My top 10:
1) james Blunt. I swear that I will destroy whatever is playing him next time I hear it.
2) Tiny Tim
3) John Mayer
4) Michael Bolton
5) Scott Stapp
6) Geddy Lee (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Rush, but damn......)
7) The original AC/DC "singer"
8) the new(er) AC/DC "singer"
9) janis Joplin (again, love her, but she cannot sing....)
10) Ozzy after Black Sabbath

Rock snob warning

By original AC/DC singer, you mean Dave Evans, who was replaced by Bon Scott after releasing the single "Can I sit next to you girl?" :D

Oh and BTW, Brian Johnson, after being in the band for 28 years (about 22 years longer than Bon), is still the "new guy"

and I am currently wearing my Highway to Hell T-shirt

Oh how to chose, when there is so many.

Sheryl Crow - so off key at times i can't believe people don't notice.
James Taylor - sickeningly sweet and nasal at once.
Bob Dylan - sounds like a goat in heat although his writing skills almost
get him a pass.
Michael Buble - wants so bad to be like the old rat pack but sounds more like
a bad tv commercial jingle singer.Note to Buble. You will never
be Frank.
Ashlee Simpson - this one needs no explanation whatsoever.
Randy Travis - Another goat.
Anne Murray - The musical equivalent of a polygamist commune in Utah.

I could go on for pages but that's all i have time for, off the top of my head.

I wish I could sing as bad as some of these guys.
I have a large collection of all of their music but sometimes I wonder WHY they ever thought they should sing. :scratch2:
