Worst singers

Bob Dylan
Neil Young
Thom Yorke
Mick Jagger
Billy Corgan

Talented performers, all, but not gifted with golden pipes!

yoko gets spots 1-5 and tiny tim gets few..most everyone isnt perfect and i can deal with them..janis has her yoko moments but she does some blues that suit her just fine.

Rock snob warning

By original AC/DC singer, you mean Dave Evans, who was replaced by Bon Scott after releasing the single "Can I sit next to you girl?" :D

Oh and BTW, Brian Johnson, after being in the band for 28 years (about 22 years longer than Bon), is still the "new guy"

and I am currently wearing my Highway to Hell T-shirt

No offense intended.

I think that the whole lot of them suck, but the singers just grate more than anything.....

I whole heartedly concur on the whole list!

I was looking for but did not see Len Cohen. He started bad and went down from there. CAE

I can't believe Yoko wasn't in the first post. Seriously. Worse than Tiny Tim.

Did they ever perform together? that would have been awesome. :smoke:

Brent Mydland with the Grateful Dead, stick to the keyboards please, when he pipes up it's time to take a walk. While we're at it, alot of Bob Weir's singing grates on me...

An' then there's the very Annoying "Powerthroat" style chanteusies- Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and that gal that sang "Let's Hear it for the Boy"...Bubbe Strident-Barbra Streisand for those unenlightened individuals who DIDN'T read "Mad" magazine growing up- is in that august group, too... Possibly Ethel Merman, but I always got the impression Ethel did it all kinda tongue-in-cheek...Wink, wink, nudge, nudge..

Surprisingly enough, I kinda like the Bob Weir solo stuff that I have been hearing on XM. Someone also mentioned Donna Jean earlier, the new album by "Donna Jean and the Tricksters" sounds pretty good too. It amazes me that I like this stuff since I really dislike the Grateful Dead!

Rick Astley - anybody remember that grease bucket from the 80s? Not usually a guy who I spend a lot of time thinking about, but just came back from the local Goodwill where I stumbled over 3 of his tapes :yikes:

Maybe if they are still there next time I'll go, I'll buy them and throw them in the trash to take the stuff out of circulation. Could be my good dead for the day and a great service to humanity. 3 tapes would only set me back a buck!

There, I am already feeling better, since I have a plan to deal with the situation, and I'll have to see them only one more time at the worst. :smoke:
