Write a Limerick

Jody has an EQ fave:
It has a boomy mid-bass wave.
It makes the vocals nice and squeaky
Because the mid range is so peaky,
And sends the tweeters to their grave.

Wasn't this the synth pop sound?
On which some 80s LPs it was found.
Where on Thrusters and Missions,
You can just leave it in the flat position.
And let the mid-bass pound !

And let's not forget the boosted highs
I can just hear the audiophile cries.
The strident and piercing way,
It reproduces 5 to 10 K,
It leaves me with fatiguing sighs

EQ stands for equalization
More complex than in-vitro fertilization
I'd say its not really needed
Suggest that it could be deleted
Now I'll wait meekly for mass condemnation

Improper EQ Roger2 blurts,
Is like hiding bad breath with Certs

The AK community is divided,
On how the frequencies should be slided.

Because the wrong choices really .... Hertz :D

Winter is here with his grouch,
The time when you sneeze and slouch,.
You can't take your women,
Canoeing or swimmin',
But a lot can be done on the couch! :)
Rome
Picture Rome, on his sofa, reclined,
With gals lining-up who 'don't mind';
Which makes him quite glad
Winter fun can be had;
About which he's so pleased to have 'chimed'... ;)

Cheers, og

Wow! Two limericks sent my way, I am elated.
There was a time when ole "Teach" did have a couple of ladies over, but now its just simply passing the couch by on my way to the kitchen. :) :) Thanks for the ribbin' og'!

Oh my bob', yea thanks for the "Teach" reference here on ole AK & you kiddies in the class make my day.

There once was a young man in big trouble
Because his chin was covered in stubble
He had tried using Nair
To remove all the hair
Didn't want to look like Barney Rubble.

So Barney .... listen; this Is Fred,
Just do what your good friend has said.

Don't use that Nair Jam,
It's for your wife's hairy gams.

Repeat that to Betty - you're dead. :D
