XRT2K Theater Pics (at last)

masterlu, you are the man! I love the vintage Lambo. Late 80's? your system is spectacular. I thought my stuff was good, I have a new goal in life!

$169,000 disturbs me. I think I'm becoming a little too social conscious in my later years. I saw the amount and thought of starving children immediately. Nice looking setup. Does it actually play at low levels well? Almost looks like a race car. Either standing still or flat out but won't run at 10 mph.

I was reading Yachting magazine and there was a 130' boat with a 9,900 gallon gas tank. At $4 a gallon for marine diesel, that's $40,000 to fill your boat! Now that's pushing it. This system however is just awesome and burns a whole lot less juice than that yacht (no offense to your yacht if you have one masterlu!)

Thanks JR :thmbsp:

Master Lu,

I am your long lost son. Lucky we have finally found each other. As for the room you want me to move into, I'll gladly take the theatre room with the XRT2k speakers.

Your long lost son,

Simon.

Master Lu who hoisted all those amps and set it up?

I did, with the help of a Vestil Mfg. lift. I bought one since I have so many 1201's. I did all the setup & wiring, except for the video calibration. I have a pro for that. :music:

That room tends to get a little noisy, sure you don't want to live in the garage?

Really quite good. I hear from a reliable source that there will be a matching XRT2K center down the road. Of course, I'll be first in line for that baby.

Interesting color on the Lamborghini... don't recall too many that color...

Does match the color of the Mac's meters tho... :thmbsp:

Love the F430 and the Turbo, great choices. Do you have Mac audio in the cars? I'm still trying to place the Lambo's year, 1980?

Sorry, no Mac audio in my rides. I listen mostly to the engines, especially in the Ferrari & Lambo. The Countach is a 1989, the last year they were made. It has a whopping 6000 miles on it!

Tks, Ivan
