Well, did they have to call the Police to restrain you or were you able to walk out with it for $15?
 
Wow! I hope for your sake that it is real and not a mistake on the "BIN". In the fine print it says that they don't end auctions early, but run the full duration...hmm.

Well, hopefully it will pan out and be real...quite remarkable...imagine that, more for the shipping than for the item!

Only once, so far, has something like that happened to me...I bought a book and it arrived and I discovered that it was actually signed by the author!

If you haven't received an email from the franchise store, that might be a good sign. Although, maybe you've been waiting for one since I sense you're a little hesitant in dealing with the big confrontation..............
 
CR-2020 part 2

:banana: Ok guys the event you've all been waiting for. :banana: Yesterday abou 10:00am we fueled up yhe truck and began our journey to Palm Desert, which is 230 miles round trip(with gas now at $3.10 a gallon :tears: .)We get lost right about the Palm Springs area, so we call the store to help us out w/ directions. The lady helps us get back on track and then asks "which item are you comming out for?" We tell her the Yamaha CR-2020, she replies" oh, you mean that big heavy one?" :yes: "It's on the counter waiting for you.we were wondering when you were comming to pick it up." Well needless to say I felt like a criminal loading it up in the truck. They were very polite and didn't mention anything the buy it now situation.


P.S. Its a complete cherry! :thmbsp:

P.S.S. I'll post some pics in about an hour.

Wow. And they took off the shipping? I could almost feel guilty about that. Almost. Glad it's in a good home now.

Yea , me too ! :yes: But hell , you got it for the best price I've seen too date. So congragulations ! :banana: I just LOVE my CR-2020 and for the $50 bux I paid , The unit was a steal. :music: But you're score was almost crimminal. :yes:
 
Unbelievable! Congratulations.

Someone definitely has their tit in the wringer though over this one. If I was the seller, I'd be damn hopping mad and looking for just compensation. Maybe the store kicked them a couple hundred since it was their error. Maybe it's coming out of the paycheck of the doofus who screwed up this Friday........
 
Well, labour laws prevent retaliation or penalties for unintentional error. Of course, I wouldn't expect a pay raise for awhile. :no:

This is just too funny! I suppose that the seller brought it in and said, "...just get rid of it...it belongs to my ex-husband...I got it in the settlement..." So, I-Sold-It did just that...seller didn't know, store didn't realize and DING, we have a WINNER!! :thmbsp:

It can't get too much better than that...WAY TO GO!
