Yamaha NS-500M Deal?

I have an opportunity to get a pair of Yamaha NS-500M speakers near me for $350. They do not have grills. Are the tweeters and midranges the same as the 1000M?

Good deal or bad?

Not Be metal for the mid. Easy check is to pull the tweeter and see if it is a JA-0513 (lettered on the back of the tweeter - only four (4) screws to drop out). The 500 has a diffferent tweeter, JA-516 (I believe).

$350 seems too high to me. More like that for a mint pair of NS-690.
