Yamaha PC5002M extremely rare

Is the PC5002M non-inverting? Manuals don't say and I don't know how to tell from the schematic (if that's possible) or any other way.

Thanks for the heads up but I would pass at $2500 a pop. :tears::tears::nono::nono:

Gents, they are up for your grabs! :smoke::banana:

todd, we're not allowed to discuss selling our own gear on this forum, especially with prices. suggest you edit your post.

The shipping company called me today to arrange a delivery time on Monday. I asked if I could pick it up today. Short answer, yes, and I did. :D When I got there I had them unstrap the box from the pallet and give me a hand loading it into the back of my car. The packaged weight is 158lbs, and I won't be able to get it in the house until tomorrow when I can get some help with it. It looks like it's well packed.

Not only did toddn break all kinds of AK rules, he reneged on a completed e-bay sale for both those amps in Nov 2009. They popped up again on fleabay a few months back by another seller (his friend), but no takers. He doesn't show his face around here or LHF that I'm aware of.

Got my 5002M back from repairs today, mine is being used with B&W Nautilus 802 speakers, the lows are superb but there is space for improvements in the mid/hi section as I can slightly hear that kind of PA-sound that I heard with other professional amps like the P2200 or Urei 6260.

The first thing to do is to replace those flimsy, old fashioned speaker terminals. You can try to connect a speaker cable terminated with a fork connector but it's risky as the terminals are very, very narrow and close to each other so it's easy to short circuit the connectors.

p.s
Sorry for bumping such an old thread, I thought that there are still people around interested in these old Yammie beasts ;)

Odd, ravinglunatic made 4 identical (almost) posts and none were deleted.

Sure hope he found what he was looking for.
