Yamaha PF-1000 Weight or clamp?

Was it a weight or clamp that came on the PF-1000? Or was it a clamping weight?

If it was a weight how much did it weigh?

Do have one here to weigh, but it wasn't much, friction fit to the spindle. Guess it would be classified as a clamp, but it's weight didn't really affect the suspension.

Table is long gone.. I did use it, but don't know that had any affect what so ever. The fiction fit wasn't enough to really hold and clamp the record the record. Not like an Oracle screw down, or the Sota type clamp.

I have this one with my YP-D6.

Funny how these have disappeared from even the seemingly best cared for tables. I'm using the KAB clamp with mine. Sometimes. Doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference.
You're probably like me, & want it primarily because it's supposed to be there!
