Yamaha question

I have two Yamaha B-2X amplifiers that can not be bridged. Can I safely feed an out of phase signal from a Yamaha C-80 to each of the B-2X while using 4 ohm speakers? I have read that the B-2X are 2 ohm stable?

Do you mean while running them in stereo? Like one channel normal and other out of phase?
If that's the case then you should be fine. The instructions for my C-80 state to hook one channel up out of phase (as well as reversing the speaker wires on that channel) so the big bass hits are 180 out between channels leaving you with more reserve power in your storage caps. The B2x is dual mono IIRC so it probably won't be of much benefit on that particular amp.

My thinking was that by cutting the power load in half the amps should be able to stay in class A more.
