Yet another Kenwood question:

Are the KA-801 and KA-8100 the same size, meaning that rack handles from the 8100 fit the 801?

No, the KA-8100 is 5-7/8in. tall and the KA-801 is 6-3/16in. tall

Also, the face extrudes a little from the sides on the KA-8100 and does not on the KA-801 so the rack handles on from a 8100 will not fit a 801.

First, I'm sorry I don't know the answer you seek; if I did I would give it to you, but I am certain that if you get a tape measure or ruler and communicate with the seller or whomever you are shopping these handles from you could easily answer it yourself.

I just picked up a larger KENWOOD myself, and although certainly well know by many here, it doesn't seem that they are all that common.

Put a little effort into it and I'm sure you can figure it out.

Sorry legal eagle I haven't got back to you on your question. I've been really busy the past week.

Anyway, I'm sorry to say this but the handles from a KT-5300 will not fit a KT-7500. the KT-5300 is 5 1/2in tall and the KT-7500 is 5 7/8in tall.
