Your "lifetime" avatar?

Thanks, Billy.
She's 23 years old now, and a great listening buddy. She understands the stereo sweet spot very well (with a binaural head like that,... its no wonder).. She has always had full flight ability, which keeps her healthy. She doesn't know what a cage is; that door is her spot. She goes on fancy flights everyday, and is an amazing terrain flier.
She's never tried talking.

Since joining AK, I have had quite a few. The one I use now is my favorite. In the future, it's likely that I will get a better picture of my cats and make it an avatar. Until then, the one I have is the one I use. :thmbsp:

Mine is from a great party we had at my house when the Bolts won the cup. I had connections, my dad was an equipment guy for the team. All team members get a day with the cup just like the players, so we had a blowout party :)

Other than the Tour De France (I produce events and compete in Endurance Sports), I love Baseball and Hockey.

I would have LOVED to be that close to the Cup. Just to touch it. Wow. That would be a DREAM come TRUE for me. Awesome.

I am not quite ready for the TDF but I am training :)

I have several different versions that I use on different forums but they are all variants of the one I have here (It's the one I uploaded to Gravatar.)

Mine will remain for my duration on A/K.
It is only my second avatar, in which I changed to it shortly after joining, and I was originally too quick in choosing the previous one.
I see no reason to change it, I guess that I don`t get bored easily.

Ironically, I never watched the sitcom "Alf", during it`s original run, or later, if it even made it into syndication.

My friend`s wife saw it in a store and bought the puzzle of this picture of Alf to assemble, glue together and frame as a gift to me in 1995.

Because, as she said, every few weeks that she showed up to clean my house to earn extra money, she claimed, I was at my electronic repair bench repairing something like the pic. of Alf.

And that framed puzzle pic. is hung on the wall right above me in this room, so my long suffering housekeeper/caregiver, took it down carefully removed it from the frame and photographed it for me to store on this laptop to transfer to A/K for my avatar.

I seem to remember that show being funny. Still have fond feelings for the character when I see your avatar.

I use my avatar on other forums (as mentioned above), too. I remember one forum (no longer around) actually requiring members to post a pic of themselves as an avatar, but I am not sure how they would know if it was me or some guy I photographed on the street. The tiger fits my username, so I dont see much reason to change it. I took the photo at a Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge.
