Zilch's AK Design Collaborative - Econowave Speaker

I have the same floor so I was going to do the IB sub in the attic. I've never heard an IB sub, but from what I've heard and read, they kick but. Cheers.

LHF is Lansing Heritage Forum? When I pick them up later this week I'll see what I have to work with, but from the pictures it looks like the crossover and tweeter sit right where the WG has to go. I was wondering if anyone else here started with these, or are most people doing custom cabinets with modern woofers?

I can attest that they sound pretty good in the middle of a MMMMMMTMMMMMM arrangement. I've got to talk to my "source" and see about getting another dozen of those to finish my pair.

Over this room there's a good sized attic, or if you're a red squirrel, 'pantry', where I'd go if I needed to install permanent wooferage.
Luckily, I have few restrictions on how I use the floor space so I can implement more conventional bass reinforcement and not need to do any construction.

I heard Tom's system one time at a meet maybe 8-9 years ago now. It was responsible for my fascination with IB woofers since. A buddy of mine installed 4 15" in his attic with a little nudging from me. It was also quite impressive, we called it the roof of boom..
 
I'm getting a list together for the Xover...

What xover should work with the Altec Madrids? I have seen 3-4 different ones.

IB baffle subs have been my very favorite in terms of detail.

I would rather see at least two "systems" in a room than a single. Preferably 3-4. :)
