Several of us are working with the smaller JBL PT waveguides, 6" x 6", 8" x 8" , the small 18-Sound ellipticals, the Dayton 7" x 7", and I have several others, and other drivers, on the way, including one which I believe will fit in the Dynaco A25.
Generally, what I have done with these falls outside the mainstream of E'Wave proper, and is posted elsewhere on the site, but I try to at least mention them here. My most recent "small" E'Wave project is Boston Acoustics A60 with the JBL 6" square waveguide, Selenium D220Ti, and standard E'Wave crossover. I also swapped in JBL 116H woofers. Sum total: a slam dunk.
My KLH-17 upgrade used the Dayton waveguide and Classic 10" woofers, ported; several members have built those. The small 18-Sound ellipticals went into AR4x. I'm saying there's lots of fun smaller stuff to try incorporating the E'Wave design principles.... :thmbsp:
