Fun it is!
As an aside, I just posted a thread on how I recessed the LE-10A's that may be relevant to anyone trying to figure out how to flush mount. Waveguides, speakers, it's pretty much the same technique.

If I get really good at it I may attempt recessing the QSC on my floorstanders, but I'm afraid that the process may leave scars, so anyone have an orphan QSC they'd be willing to sacrifice?
A close look will reveal that I used 3 different routers... And they are still setup...
