Picked up a pair of fairly rare sherwin Vega 2000-10 speakers. anyone have a schematic of the crossover circuitry used in these speakers?

pardon the slowness of this update, ms750 golden iso has been posted in my repair thread:

mcintosh (escient) ms750 music server, diagnostics and modifications [hardware/software]

since the golden cd has become increasingly difficult to find and download hopefully this ill fated attempt at a backup copy will suffice. some assembly required i.e. read the decompression notes. might be a good idea to have all the downloaded files in a separate directory to make things...

Can you help with Mc panel cutout dimensions for 3 pc of equipment using panlocs.
MC 2205, C27 and MR 78. I found your post where you had the templates. Dims will work fine to build a cabinet (with ventilation) to house the three pieces.
I measured with panloc's fitted & I believe all require 14 3/4" width, amp requiring 6 9/16" ht. and the others 5 9/16" ht
I believe the amp uses L-54 and the other two use L52

Before the fire I had a quadraphonic system with a big reel Teac. 4 channels man it was nice.. Todays surround sound does not even come close to Quad music thru the speakers. Too bad it did not survive. I love what I got today and I got a lot but it still does not measure up to Quad. However just material things that can be gone in a second.. Take care..

Wow, matte black Planar 1 arrived. Rod Elliot P06 phono stage I build last week, Bach BWV565 by Karl Richter on Deutsche Gramophon I picked up at the thrift shop - I have a huge grin on my face!

In the meantime have scanned some thrift shops - there's an awful lot of junk vinyl there, made-for-TV specials, record of the month club etc. - I did find a few classical recordings that look to be in good condition but of course I can't tell yet.

Was supposed to get the Planar 1 on Tuesday. When I went to the store they tried to give me a P1 Plus... apart from costing more than I paid those have no way of using other than the built-in phono stage so not really what I want. Promises to deliver to me on Wednesday were made... I heard nothing until this morning and apparently it is coming this afternoon now.

Some time ago we've exchanged on a thread related to the CA 303 (+ BA 202 and 303) and you provided me with the Operating Manual of the Plug-In Units for the CD-3.
I dowloaded the file and kept it aside until recently but unfortunately, the document is faded to the point I can't decrypt what's written.
Would you by chance a better copy of this Manual ?

You did GOOD! Glad it worked out. My friend had the same problem as you and I had slow time finding it. It this case it was an EL-34 heater pin reflow that fixed it. I always find cleaning the old solder off and using real lead solder with flux restores contacts. Rock On....my Friend.

My son has an entry-level turntable and it looks like a lot of fun, so I'm getting into it. I'm interested in mechatronics, electronics, and 3D printing, so I will probably be tinkering with DIY stuff too. I've built the Rod Elliot phono stage. I'm probably going to buy a Rega Planar 1?

I saw your post from 2023 on Audiokarma about having MC225 serial number 607C9. Small world -- I just bought 607C9 from a very nice guy in SF Bay Area. Sweet amp.

Any back story you might care to share would be cool. I think it's found its forever home up here on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state.

sorry fo the late response. You are very fortunate. I hated selling it. I purchased from someone in the midwest. I believe one owner . I was the second. It's a great very smooth sounding amp.
