2220b Small red wire on P700

I have a small red wire that comes from underneath. I think connects to J727 but I am not sure. Anybody have a 2220b that would let me know please.

I've attached photos of a 2220B. There is one small red wire going to J712. And the larger gauge power lead goes to J725.

Thank you for your reply. The origin of the wire in question is P800 J814. See pencil.

This picture helps. I betcha a candy cane that the wire is on pin J812, not J814 which is a raw dc supply just for the stereo lamp bulb. J812 is the +35Vdc supply output and goes multiple places. I've only touched one 2220B and my pictures look like there is actually 3 wires going there. At any rate one of the places it goes is the power amp board at J727 as you suspected. Give that a look.

I traced out the +35 supply, here where all it goes:
Amp board: J726,J727
Phono P400: J404
FM P300: J311
Tone amp: JE04

rBuckner, thank you for that info. You are right about J812. On my board it is marked J814 but I suspected that was an error because there are 2 J814 on that board. In any case, that helps. Thanks
