That's a nice receiver you have there! Marantz, I am told uses a blue film like cellophane on the back of the glass. It looks like your unit has blue blotchy spots which may have been filled in with blue permanent marker. I would try sourcing the hygloss blue cellophane from a third party website if I truly needed it perfect, If not, You can do a lot with a red sharpie and a steady hand as stated above. Good luck!
I may need to resort to a fine red and blue sharpies or edding marker as @icko30 suggested because there is damage to the lettering. I may try the cellophane as well, not sure what would be the best procedure to stick it in place.
This is a fantastic receiver, and when I got it I was somewhat doubtful that I could restore it - it was missing all the lamp assemblies and housings. Fortunately I found exact replacements at the auction site, from a 4300. Of course the only thing that can't come from a 4300 is the dial panel so I'll have to make do with this one. The lamp housing there is a good soul out there 3D printing them.
Good thing is, the preamp and amp sections are working well. I connected everything to give it a try and all I can say, good lord this thing sounds great. Velvet hammer as I read somewhere, and with good reason.

This happened to a 2270 of mine. I was unsuccessful trying to fix it. I ended up buying a dial plate from a donor unit. The cause I believe is heat from the original bulbs and just age. Personally I’m keeping my units until I can no longer hear so I try and put it back to original. Good luck with your repair.
Thank you. The thing is, I believe there are many more 2270s out there than 2325s. I got donor lamp assemblies from a 4300, and a 3d printed lamp housing. I probably won't mess with it - this will probably never be a "best in show" unit but that doesn't bother me.
If it was mine, I'd look up the part number and see what other receivers used the same part. I'd check 2265, 75, 85, etc.
The 2325 has the same footprint as the 4300 and 4400, with 6 dial lights instead of 5. The dial as far as I know is unique and much wider than any of the ones you mention.

FYI I did have a 2325 cracked dial plate and found a replacement on eBay. It will take time (maybe a lot of time) but hopefully one will surface. You can put an alert on your smart phone. If not a huge issue for you no worries then.
The 2325 are more common than the 2270, problem is there far more expensive. That also drives the parts costs as well.
