4 complete Altec speakers on ATL CL:$500

That would be nice, but these aren't worth that much.. you could easily double your money though... I would be on these if I was in the area..

Nothing wrong with horns in a home. I'm using MR 94'2 and 1602's. The purpose of Hi-Fi is to have it sound like it did originally. I've heard my favorite bands played on some pretty esoteric speakers and it never sounded like I was there; more like I was too far away, you know they just didn't have the volume.

It was a hard press to get my A7s in the house with the wife.. but once I did , I think it will probably be over hear dead body they leave..
