ADS L-710 value?

I have a line on a pair of ADS L-710s in really nice condition. As I recall these are very nice sounding speakers. I've always wanted a pair. What's the current value of them? Thanks!

Very, very nice condition, all original, all functioning, $350.

Metal grills also add value, as do original stands.

$350 is a fair to high end price for cloth grills & a very fair price for metal grill'd L710.

One sold locally around $300 - for around $400-450 you can get 1290 or 980. Hard comaprison as some folks like the 710 better than 810 or 980...

Well, I got them for $300. The guy who has them works at a local speaker repair facility and has checked them out and guarantees them. Perhaps I overpaid a bit but I'm quite OK with these. :thmbsp:

I saw a mint pair of 1590s with original boxes the other day on CL for $995. Great speakers but out of my range at the moment. If they'd have been $600 they would be mine right now. :yes:

Yes those are awesome. I passed on a pair of rare rosewood in very nice condition. They sold (after the second or third attempt) on e-bay for $999 or something like that.

I find that's not a problem if I make everybody in the house keep shaved pubes

Funny I was thinking about the same thing - my L520, L730 and L810 all have metal grilles and the dust on the mids and tweeters are so irritating...
