I get this look from Mattie.. up close when she wants me to get up and drop food in the bowl.

This morning...
Princess assisting me with the Magnavox.
Princess sure i s a pretty. girl, look is a great supervisor, not overbearing… Lol
myself, i was many times called overbearing, lost 40 lbs, it didn’t help…
That story was years ago, but still I ….

A fat cat that likes to CHEEZ-IT

still no new pic's. still no phone 
the new kids are great
the young male ( tuna) we call him wolfie now, is over a year.
he is thin at this point,but tall, he will be a big fella.
he freaks me out!!!
he chews my hair, and try's to suckle on any flesh of mine he can find.
it is a really weird feeling. he is doing it less as i stop him, and he ages.
the young female [ sally ann ] is beautiful. but tiny. i think she knows how cute she is, and takes advantage.
she's like the the shirley temple of cats
george [ sophia 2 ] is like the mom, she growls sometimes, but plays with them too, and occasionally they all sleep with me.
sophia 1 [squeek] is 21yrs this year.
she is as small as sally ann. she always has been.
she's up on my desk flirting as i type this. and knocking every thing over. damn sqeek!!
she wasn't well earlier this month and and i thought the worst, but here she is, spry as ever.
i know her time is very limited
that leaves kiki [ the ginger ]
she's 4 now and her right size. she will never be friends with george, it just aint happening.
they tolerate each other at feeding time, but thats all.
but she play's all night with 2 young ones.

The one brown tabby has gone from a recluse to all over me over the past week to the point where I can't dish up the wet cat food, I'm very happy for this transformation and with a little more socializing and visit to the vet she will be ready for the adoption events... like anyone wants to adopt another boring tabby.

Yes "plain" cats are not the easiest to adopt out.
Shame, as you would hope it might be personality based.
We finally got a hit on Josie, the "plain" black and white girl.
Our second feral colony with the odd genetics---almost all of those got adopted super quick.

Otherwise "plain" tabby cats but with either blue or red fluffy tails
White cats with different colored eyes

This was in another thread, but really belongs here...for those that did not see it. Truer words were never spoken 
Ya know I really hate hoomans. We took in a most stunning orange momma-cat and her two little fireballs this evening, at first she reacted very adversely and tried to climb the walls of the bathroom when we tried to get her weight however I was able to not only do the meet & greet but passed the sniff test and allowed to give her a butt-scratch and brushing while starting her motor. What gets me is how the prospective foster changed their minds about taking her in after the bathroom episode, I was told they don't want to deal with her...
One thing I've learned working with cats is a bowl of food and a little trust can go a long way.

It sounds like it was definitely in the cat’s best interest.
Rowan was returned at least twice that I know of, once because they wanted a lap cat!
and the other time was she would not get along with the people’s dog/s.
Ending up in at least 2 different shelters, set to be put down for her aggression.
Owning a cat is a responsibility, not wanting to deal with it, totally unacceptable. Rowan has certainly been a handful, but I know she is mine, through thick and thin. She has finally found her forever home— Always on her terms.
This past 23rd of the month was her 1 year anniversary with me.
@ARC Tech-109, your frustration is well warranted, but you knew how to get the motor started—
Guess it’s tough to gauge what care those fosters will receive once they leave.
Thanks for all you do, and your unselfishness for our furry friends. Means a huge amount!

It looks like vomit with half a mouse and the other half left for later.
I had a cat, Tube, found when she was about 3 weeks old, she had never seen a mouse and yet when she encountered them she proved to be the most dangerous of all the cats living in the house.
I know and that's what's so weird about all of this, Dorothy has never proven herself to be a mouser in the past and always very fussy about the food. The most entertaining part of this was the look on Mattie's face... Dorothy has earned her place and is now the queen??? Total look of defeat that she now has to respect Dorothy for making the contribution to the pride and saving mom from the dangerous rodent and now keeps her distance instead of swatting at her.
