Any owners out there with a Rega DAC-R?

Testing one out in my system this week. Wanted to get other thoughts on this
DAC.

So I tested the Rega DAC-R in my system last week. It has a very strong presence and sounds very pleasing at first. Then annoyance set in. There is a dark sound in the high mid range. I'm not that detailed, but have to say I wouldn't want to live with it.

The Rega allows to select from several digital filters, try them all and see if you might like one better than the others.

Really didn't notice a difference in the fiters
