Ha! Heather, that's what they say on the guitar boards!

They're rough but they are what they are. Gonna give them a full restoration and see what all the buzz is about. I honestly wasn't that impressed with the AR2ax pair that I refurb'd.

They have been serviced at some place in PA. The mid wiring looks sloppy in the pic and the pots have bolts in their place! And of course, foams are needed. Read thru the pdf on classicspeakers. I used it on the 2ax'.

I tried for the free restorable AR3as, too, but missed. At least the seller was kind enough to write back and say that they'd been picked up.

Yes, CL can be bad sometimes but other times it's fabulous.

Yes, he wrote me too, to tell me I didn't get them. Very gracious of him.

Poor fella, I can imagine he'll be up all night writing condolence notes if he contacts everybody who emailed him about these.
