AU-919 mods

I've replaced all the electrolytics and black flag caps in my 919. It's had a full deoxit job and the trim pots replaced. I've replaced the spkr binding posts as well. What else needs to be done before I put it back together?

If you want it really really quiet, and really really stable on bias and DC zero, replace all the transistors. I'm a performance hound, so I replaced all the TO-92 and TO-126 transistors. Also all the big power supply and driver transistors too. (The TO-220's, Not the main output transistors unless needed).

This makes a noticeable difference in stability and S/N ratio. I also replaced EVERY diode except the brown boat varistors.

Did you restuff the main caps with some panny HA series? That's a must, but I think you did that.

ALot of extra work I'm suggesting, but not alot of component cost.

Relay. You can't mod this amp. It's already technically perfect.

What do you mean "relay"?
And it's nice to think that the 919 is a perfect design!:yes:
What about using 1% metel film resistors in certain key places on the driver board?:scratch2:
