AU-9500 serial number

I have an AU-9500 that appears to have no serial number.
(Unless I am blind)

Can anyone tell me where the serial number is located on this model?

On a rectangular yellow sticher in the rear of the unit, at the left of the right (main) fuse holder.

Here is my problem: (pics)
It doesn't even appear to have ever been there (using a jeweler's magnifying glass).
I pulled a AU-717 from my "to-do" shelf, and the serial number is as you described, although in a different spot.

I have three AU-9500 (one multi-voltage and two 117V) and the sticker is there on the three just below the writing: DISCONECT POWER SUPPLY CORD BEFORE CHANGING FUSE AND OPENNING.

Appearently someone removed it on yours.

It's possible that the back panel was replace early in it's life.
