Bands With One Good Song

[Omegaman]

How about

Time won't let me

by the Outsiders

[Montycat]

Mungo Jerry, known for In The Summertime...and the sideburns and hair for extra points.

[Redikilowatt]

The Lion Sleeps Tonight by the Tokens (1961)

[Mystic]

Mississippi Queen by Mountain

Love that song.

Past your love of "Mississippi Queen", you're suggesting that the band Mountain released but one "good" song!?

[Mystic]

The Kings ~ This Beat Goes On / Switching To Glide

That's exactly the one I was going to cite. Bob got there first. :thmbsp:

[Redikilowatt]

"Hey Little Cobra" by The Rip Chords (1964)

"Teen Angel" by Mark Dinning and Alex Murray

"Running Bear" by Johnny Preston

[squirrelnest]

[Redikilowatt]

More "car" related hits

"Beep Beep" The Playmates
"G.T.O." Ronny and the Daytonas
"Hot Rod Race" Ramblin' Jimmy Dolan
"Tell Laura I Love Her" Ray Peterson

Heck, who will do the one hit "beach music" hits or the 60s R&B/Motown stuff ???

On the same album:

Let's Spend The Night Together
I'll Hold Out May Hand
Who Do You Love
Tell Him No

and not quite as good but still very enjoyable:

The Last Time
I Don't Beleive
Mojalesky Ridge

Perhaps you might want to give these tracks a try.

Who Do You Love
Tell Him No

Perhaps you might want to give these tracks a try.

I agree with you Shelly. Although I think she would have sounded better on "let's spend the night together"

[zebra03]

Kiss - Hard Luck Woman

[Cactus Bob]

The Safety Dance ~ Men Without Hats

Venus ~ Shocking Blue

Venus ~ Shocking Blue

Good one.

The Beau Brummels - Laugh Laugh

[Estring]

Tegan and Sara - Walking With A Ghost. Everything else sounds like modern Indigo Girls.
Walk The Moon - Daddy's Coming Home. The album cover should have warned me of how horrible this group was. Except for this one song.

The Safety Dance ~ Men Without Hats

Well if that's the good song by mwoh, I sure don't care to hear other songs by them! :nono:
