Bose 601's

[EVBoy]

Just refoamed my estate sale Bose 601's. Sound great and have nice walnut veneer cabinets. Any opinions on them?

The 601 is a nice speaker, having had a pair some time ago. Have they pushed the EV brand out of the #1 spot?

No, I like my EV Interface B Series II better.

They are one of the better Bose models. I like them.

I am entirely not surprised. The 601 is a decent speaker, but the EV Interface B II at least borders on true greatness. In fact, I think it can achieve greatness on some source material.
