Bose 901 equalizer

I got a Bose 901 Series VI EQ from GW that was in great physical condition but when I got it home found that it wouldn't light up. Turned out the power transformer is mounted to the main circuit board and it was obviously mishandled causing the transformer to attempt to leave the premises, breaking the transformer coil leads AND cracking the circuit board. Things were still together enough that a dose of super glue to the board and solder/wire bridges along with a little surgery on the transformer leads brought it back to life.

The kicker here is that I don't even HAVE a set of 901s ... is this hoarding behavior? Why, yes, I suppose it probably is.

Anybody need one?

Why do you think it has a short? What is the unit not doing?
Its being weird. Like I said the light flickers but if I tilt the EQ up the sound goes off. I set it back down and the sound comes back on. I checked everything and can not find a short or crack in the board or anything.

@PioneerPro. , had that problem with my Series 2 eq for a long time. Finally found that it was the tape-monitor switch, which had an open frame switch (at least on mine). A few squrts of contact cleaner, working the switch back and forth, and she's fine to this day (bought new in 73/74 ??)

Also, will note that the rca jacks developed that powdery silver/white oxidation, but that never seemed a problem, at least for me.
